ABOUT THE DESIGN:
St John's, Newfoundland Canada - Jellybean Row, These colourful houses overlook the St John's harbour on the east coast of Canada. The story goes that in the early days, sailors who were out at sea for long periods of time would look up to see their homes on the hills when returning. So, they decided to paint their houses in bright colours to make them more visible and stand out against the cool grey misty backdrop. 

This illustration highlights the fun, unique colours of these row homes as they cascade down the sloping streets of St. Johns. The harbour full of waterway activity bustles in the background. It is a very scenic area place that is worth a visit to take in all history.
